Tim has been actively involved with Agrifoods for over 20 years. His journey started as a delegate, and through his desire to contribute in a more meaningful way he progressed to being elected as a Director in 2010. Demonstrating strong leadership abilities through other Board positions as President – Wetaskiwin Coop Association, Westgen, Semex, and Alberta Milk) – Tim was appointed Chair of the Agrifoods Board in 2016. In addition to his duties as Chair, he is also involved in the following committees: Governance & Member, Investment, Finance & Audit, and Human Resources.
Participating in 4-H as a child, while also growing up on a dairy farm, expanded Tim’s skills and passion for the industry. In July of 1978, after spending two years working as a herdsman for the University of Alberta Dairy Farm, Tim and his wife Deb starting their own farm in Alberta with 40 dairy cows. Back then they had to do everything themselves, from early morning milking to late-night calving, but now they are lucky to have help from their family as they manage 350 cattle (approx. 120 milking cattle and 60 beef cow calves).
Brian has been a Director with Agrifoods since 2013, and in 2020 he was appointed Vice-Chair of the Agrifoods Board and Chair of the Governance & Member Committee. Having served as the Southern Alberta delegate with Alberta Milk for 10 years, as well as being on the Board of other organizations (Rehoboth Christian Ministries and Eventide Care Home), Brian gained valuable leadership abilities that allow him to take on additional responsibilities with Agrifoods and provide guidance on key co-operative initiatives.
“What I like most about being a director is taking care of our members’ interests in the co-op and being able to serve with directors across Western Canada of the same mindset. I enjoy all the challenges of being a Director of this dynamic co-op and look forward to contributing to the future success.”
Bill has served as a Director since 2001 and was appointed Secretary of the Board in 2015. He enjoys contributing in any way he can and currently participates in the Finance & Audit Committee. With a passion for improving the lives of Canadians, Bill has been involved with numerous committees and boards throughout his career. He has also been a part of the rural electrification movement since 1988 and is currently on the board of EQUS.

I love participating in the process that makes Agrifoods great, which includes being able to put policies in place that benefits producers and the organization while keeping in mind the art of process that ultimately serves consumers.”
D.R. has been an Agrifoods Delegate for over 10 years and has served as a Director since 2017. He is also actively involved in Governance & Member Committee, as well as the Investment Committee, and provides valuable input to the board.

Armand has been an Agrifoods Delegate since 2015 and was elected as a Director in the spring of 2022. With expertise in business strategy, corporate finance, and governance, he brings a unique blend of experience in dairy farming and corporate agrifood. In addition to his previous role as the Managing Director of Foragen Technology Ventures, Armand also served on different boards, including Chromatin Inc., MCN BioProducts, Cevena Bioproducts, Radient Technologies, GuardEn Technologies, Codena Inc, AgWest Bio, and Saskatchewan Nutraceutical Network.
For Armand, dairy has always been a part of his life. His grandfather started their family farm in 1953 in the Peace River region of Alberta, and he fondly remembers helping out as a young boy. Armand became a partner in the business in 1988, and in 2020 he took on more responsibility as the President, working with their Lead Herdsman, Supervisors and Managers going through progress on operations.
Mike has been an Agrifoods Delegate since 2017 and was elected as a Director on the Board in 2020. As the current Chair for the Finance & Audit Committee, he can showcase his leadership skills and contribute to the success of the cooperative. Having served on a few boards in the dairy genetic industry, Mike enjoys representing other dairy producers and contributing to the growth of the Canadian dairy industry.

Sean has been a Director on the Agrifoods Board since 2012 and is actively involved in several committees: Governance & Member, Investment, Finance & Audit, and Human Resources. Drawing on his knowledge and experience from being board member for Saskmilk and the Chair/President of several organizations (Saskatchewan Dairy Association, The Canadian Young Farmers Forum, and Western Canadian Seminar) he contributes a unique perspective to important discussions for Agrifoods’ success.

Rob has been on the Agrifoods Board since 2020 and is currently the Chair of the Investment Committee. He also sits on the Finance & Audit Committee and the Human Resources Committee. As an external Director he brings over 20 years of experience in strategy and corporate development with specialization in finance and business operations. He is currently the President/Owner of Gibbs Delta Tackle and has previously held senior executive roles at Intrawest, Viad, and Scotia Capital.
Having served as a Board Director, Chair of Finance & Audit, and Chair of Nominations Committees at Mountain Equipment Coop for 6 years, Rob strongly aligns with the higher purpose of cooperatives. He was drawn to Agrifoods through his desire to contribute to another organization focused on health and wellness.
