Tim Hofstra, Chair

Tim has been actively involved with Agrifoods for over 20 years. His journey started as a delegate, and through his desire to contribute in a more meaningful way he progressed to being elected as a Director in 2010. Demonstrating strong leadership abilities through other Board positions as President – Wetaskiwin Coop Association, Westgen, Semex, and Alberta Milk) – Tim was appointed Chair of the Agrifoods Board in 2016. Brian Stoutjesdyk, Vice-Chair

Brian has been a Director with Agrifoods since 2013, and in 2020 he was appointed Vice-Chair of the Agrifoods Board and Chair of the Governance & Member Committee. Bill Van Rootselaar, Secretary

Bill has served as a Director since 2001 and was appointed Secretary of the Board in 2015. He enjoys contributing in any way he can and currently participates in the Finance & Audit Committee. With a passion for improving the lives of Canadians, Bill has been involved with numerous committees and boards throughout his career. He has also been a part of the rural electrification movement since 1988 and is currently on the board of EQUS.
